Welcome Message

EMVTC-REMERA started in 2013, and it has adopted a Strategy and Action Plan 2023 – 2027 where one

of the strategic objectives is to increase employment and strengthen self-reliance through vocational training according to the demands of the labor market as well as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Vision 2050.

This strategy ‘Enhancing quality vocational training to achieve self-reliance’ is a development of the

efforts of EMVTC-REMERA to structure and present its vision and plans for vocational training services

to our future partners and donor community. The main messages that we want to send are:

  • To increase the number of working adults in Rwanda,
  • To strengthen and support the attainment of self-reliance through quality vocational skills.

Over the next Five years – 2023-2027 – EMVTC-REMERA expects to be the leading and preferred vocational school for motor vehicle mechanics education through improved performance as training providers starting with clearly identifying the bottlenecks in providing vocational training, including the organization and administration of the process; embedding quality in the provision of vocational training through accreditation of training programs and the leading training providers in consultation with the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA); and also reaching out to the wider public.

I want to thank the team that participated and contributed to this Strategy.
